Lillian Dolinka, nee Lovitz, 91; beloved wife of the late Daniel; loving mother of Bonnie Novak and the late Carla Dolinka; fond former mother-in-law of Barry Novak; cherished “Ninny” of Jennifer (Ben) Riback and Philip Novak; adored great grandmother of Ava, Ella and Jacob Riback; dear sister of the late Idell (the late Harold “Mickey”) Feldstein; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Wednesday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I don’t even know where to start with this one, so many beautiful memories I had with Ms. Lillian, everyday was a memory with her. I remember her as a warm loving Mother. Always trying to feed me because she thought I was skinny 🙂 Also when I was getting ready to leave for the day she would tell me ” don’t leave me alone, you can sleep over! ” such a wonderful individual she was. But the one thing that really stuck out as a memory from her is when she would say her favorite phrase; “AND IT JUST DAWN ED ON ME!” I would be terrified because I knew I would end up cleaning her walk in closet or food pantry. She loved having everything so organized.
I will miss her asking me to make her a cup of coffee in the mornings and helping her with her makeup. As well as our small walks in the condo hallways. God has gained a wonderful Angel in heaven! R.i.p. Ms. Lillian Do link a you will be greatly missed. Always in my thoughts and prayers. Love you much!
